Dale Shepherd

My Story

Dale first discovered fishing at a young age while spending time on the bank with his uncle, quickly realising how much he enjoyed the sport. That early passion led him into the competitive side of angling, fishing for Barnsley Juniors before progressing to represent the England team. Those early experiences helped shape his approach to match fishing and laid the foundations for a career built around competition and improving his skills.

After passing his driving test in his mid-twenties, Dale set his sights on qualifying for some of the sport’s biggest events and has been chasing that challenge ever since. Alongside targeting major competitions, he also enjoys travelling the country fishing festivals at a variety of venues. Being invited to compete in the Fishub Premier League is something he was absolutely buzzing about and considers a real honour to be part of.
