My Story
Dean spent much of his early angling career heavily involved in team fishing, representing sides such as Garbolino Apollo, DELCAC and later Daiwa Dorking. Those years of fishing in highly competitive team environments helped develop his tactical awareness and consistency, giving him a strong foundation across a wide range of venues and match situations.
In more recent years, around 2022–2023, Dean shifted his focus towards individual events and has quickly established himself by qualifying for a number of major competitions in a relatively short space of time. Now firmly focused on the commercial match scene, he prides himself on being consistent across a variety of venues and adaptable to different methods, qualities that make him a strong competitor wherever he draws.
