My Story

Sam has established himself as one of the leading names on the commercial match fishing circuit, regularly competing in the biggest events in the country and building an impressive record of major final appearances. His biggest success came in 2022 when he was crowned Maver Match This Champion, while a runner-up finish in the 2021 Fish’O’Mania final underlined his ability to perform on the biggest stage. More recently, he added another major title to his record by becoming Golden Rod Champion in 2026.

Sam particularly enjoys targeting carp and margin fishing, with Hayfield Lakes ranking as his favourite venue. With eight Maver Match This finals, six Golden Reel finals and appearances in numerous other major events behind him, he brings a huge amount of big-match experience to the Fishub Premier League. He joins the line-up with the pedigree to challenge at the very top and will be looking to make his mark on the competition.
