Andy Bennett

Introduction

Andy is an angling consultant for Guru Tackle with more than 25 years of experience in the sport, having first been introduced to fishing by his dad and brothers at a young age. Over the years, he has developed into a highly accomplished match angler, with much of his focus now centred on the thriving commercial fishery circuit where some of the UK’s biggest and most competitive events take place.

Although commercial venues form the backbone of his match fishing, he still enjoys the challenge and tranquillity of natural waters whenever the opportunity arises. Competing in the Fishub Premier League means a great deal to him, offering the chance to test himself against some of the finest anglers in the country while helping to shape a league format that could eventually grow into a nationwide ranking system — giving anglers everywhere a clear pathway to compete and progress through the sport.
