John Harvey

My Story

John is a proud Welsh angler who has been match fishing since the age of 12. His journey in the sport began on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal in Wales with a local club, where he quickly developed a passion for competition that eventually led him to represent Wales at World Championship level. Those early years on canals and rivers helped build the strong foundations of his match fishing career.

Over the years John has competed across a wide range of venues including canals, rivers and commercial fisheries, gaining valuable experience in major events along the way. Known for his calm and composed approach on the bank, he prides himself on staying measured under pressure while also knowing when to take a chance. Being part of the inaugural Fishub Premier League is an opportunity he is excited about, and he is looking forward to testing himself against some of the very best anglers in the sport.
