Pete Upperton

My Story

Pete first started fishing at the age of 13 alongside his dad, competing on the local lake match scene. From there he progressed into the Keenets Junior League, gaining experience fishing rivers and canals before moving into the wider match circuit. As his skills developed he began travelling further afield, fishing festivals and qualifiers across the country and steadily building a reputation on the competitive scene.

Over the years Pete has also been part of several strong southern teams including Preston Innovations, Delcac and Daiwa Dorking, mainly focusing on carp-dominated commercial venues where pole fishing plays a key role. He is very much looking forward to being part of the Fishub Premier League and feels honoured to have been invited to compete in what promises to be a highly competitive and innovative new format.
