Make Your Changes Before Round 2 at Hayfield Lakes

The first transfer window of Season 2 is now open, but you’ve only got until 8:30am on Tuesday 18th August to make your changes.

If you got your Free Spirit Fishub Dream Team entered before the start of Season 2, it’s time to take another look at your selections following the opening round at Monkhall Fishery.

The first transfer window is now open, giving you the opportunity to make changes before Round 2 of the Fishub Premier League gets underway at Hayfield Lakes on Tuesday 18th August.

Round 1 gave Dream Team managers plenty to think about, with Tom Scholey and Jordan Holloway taking the two section wins at Monkhall and putting maximum section points on the board.

Now the question is whether you stick with the anglers you originally backed, make a transfer ahead of Hayfield or simply change your Team Captain for the second round.

The Decisions Are Now in Your Hands

The first round of Season 2 is complete and the Free Spirit Fishub Dream Team transfer window is officially open.

After seeing how the Premier League anglers performed at Monkhall Fishery, Dream Team managers now have their first opportunity to make changes to their line-ups before the action resumes at Hayfield Lakes.

But there’s no need to make changes simply for the sake of it.

If you’re happy with the team you selected at the start of the season, you can stick with it. If there’s an angler who caught your eye during Round 1, however, you now have the opportunity to make that change and bring them into your team.

Did You Back the Monkhall Section Winners?

Tom Scholey and Jordan Holloway made the perfect start to Season 2 by winning their respective sections at Monkhall Fishery.

Those results may have given some Dream Team managers an early advantage, while others could already be looking at their selections and wondering whether it’s time for a change.

One result doesn’t necessarily tell us what will happen throughout the rest of the season, though. That’s where the decisions become interesting.

The same four venues used during Season 1 return for Season 2, but this time we’re tackling them in reverse order. That means Dream Team managers have last season’s performances to consider alongside what we’ve already seen from the anglers during the opening round of the new campaign.

You Don’t Have to Use Your Transfers Now

Remember, you don’t have to use all of your available transfers during this window.

If you think your original selections are capable of delivering at Hayfield, you can leave your team exactly as it is. Saving transfers could give you more options later in the season when the Premier League moves on to Messingham Sands and ultimately Tunnel Barn Farm.

Alternatively, if there’s a change you really want to make following Monkhall, the window gives you the opportunity to do it before Round 2.

You can also reconsider your Team Captain, giving you another important decision to make ahead of Tuesday’s match.

Next Stop: Hayfield Lakes

Round 2 takes place at Hayfield Lakes on Tuesday 18th August, just one week after the opening match of the season.

Hayfield offers plenty of different options, with waggler, bomb, long pole, short pole and margin fishing all potentially coming into play. That versatility could make selecting your Dream Team particularly interesting as you decide which anglers you think are best placed to perform.

Once the transfer window closes, your selections will be locked in for Round 2 and it’ll be time to see whether you’ve made the right calls.

So take another look at your team, check how your anglers performed at Monkhall and decide whether you’re sticking or twisting ahead of Hayfield.

The Free Spirit Fishub Dream Team transfer window closes at 8:30am on Tuesday 18th August.
